Sure - Channel Islands tops up at Tesco

Sure has become the first mobile network in the Channel Islands to allow Pay As You Go customers to top up at Tesco outlets in both the United Kingdom and Isle of Man.
Sure Pay As You Go customers can now top up at any Tesco till. Having paid, they will receive a number printed on a till receipt to enter into their phones in order to complete the transaction. Customers will need to top up a minimum of £5. They will earn Tesco Clubcard points with every purchase.
Tesco has 2,115 stores across the UK and is the joint-largest food retailer in the Isle of Man.
Paul Taylor, Marketing Director for Sure, commented:
“Tesco is a major retailer both in the UK and Isle of Man. I’m delighted that Sure customers can exclusively top up there. This will be a major benefit to Sure customers every time they travel to the UK or Isle of Man.”
He added:
“We will now move on to seek agreements with a number of other major UK retailers. We are committed to offering Pay As You Go customers the largest number of places to top up, as well as the convenience of being able to get credit in stores, by phone or online.”
