Guernsey Intellectual Property Office to run free clinic
The Bailiwick of Guernsey Intellectual Property Office (IPO) will be running a FREE intellectual property clinic on Monday 27 April 2009 to mark World Intellectual Property Day.
Attendees will be able to seek advice on different areas of intellectual property from specialist firms.
Attendees who seek advice in respect of their particular trademark will receive a voucher entitling them to a £200 reduction in the official fees for an application to first register that trademark—provided that the application is made within 30 days of the date of the clinic. The reduced trade mark fee is applicable to all Bailiwick businesses
making an application for their trademark. It does not apply to applications from outside the Bailiwick or to applications made on behalf of third parties.
The free clinic is to be held between 2 pm and 4pm on Monday 27 April 2009 at the Guernsey Registry Offices—4th Floor, Market Building, Fountain Street, St Peter Port.
As well as intellectual property specialists from industry, IPO staff will be available for general guidance and information.
