Guernsey health and safety consultancy launched
Specialist health and safety consultants Ross Coppolo and Jonathan Coyde have launched a new venture that aims to provide new and innovative approaches to health and safety in the work place.
With offices in both Jersey and Guernsey Coppolo & Coyde are able to provide health and safety services and training to all Channel Islands businesses. The team comprises chartered health and safety practitioners who have many years of practical, hands-on experience in a broad range of workplace environments including the construction, aviation, maritime, hospitality, retail, leisure, manufacturing, fulfilment and financial sectors.
‘Ross and I have built up a wealth of experience working with Channel Islands companies and our business model is built around developing ongoing working relationships with our clients by offering them a bespoke health and safety services package,’ said Mr Coyde.
Mr Coyde worked as an Environmental Health Officer for the States of Guernsey before being employed as a health and safety consultant and trainer in the Channel Islands for the past eight years. He is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner, a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner and a NEBOSH National Examiner.
Mr Coppolo has a background and specialist qualifications in the maritime and aviation sectors having worked as a health and safety consultant in the Channel Islands for the past seven years. He holds a masters degree in Occupational Health and Safety Management, specialist NEBOSH Health and Safety diplomas and is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner.
Coppolo & Coyde’s training department is licensed to deliver a wide range of nationally accredited courses including IOSH, NEBOSH and CIEH training.
‘We are able to offer a one-stop shop for all health and safety training needs and can also provide tailored training courses to suit specific company policies, procedures and requirements,’ said Mr Coyde.
As part of their future expansion plans Coppolo & Coyde will seek to employ locally based consultants who are not only professionally qualified but who share the same desire to provide the highest levels of service to meet their clients expectations and needs.
