Guernsey has a long history and diverse range of manufacturing businesses. From boat building and silk of days gone by, to state-of-the-art manufacture of medical products and light engineering businesses.

Guernsey’s manufacturing industry is primarily supported by the Confederation of Guernsey Industry and the island has suffered in recent years with a lack of available accommodation for such businesses. However, with disused vinery sites cited as perfect areas for suitable development, the industry is confident about its future.
